Tomato for Lunch


An Eastern Box Turtle visited our tomato patch this morning, lunching on a tomato that had fallen – or maybe helping it fall. Birds also take a bite of tomato now and then, but since we’ve had plenty – despite the long spell of hot, dry weather in August – we've had more than enough to share.
